About Us
The Foundation for Renal Medullary Carcinoma Research was founded in 2020 by Alexander S. Wesley and a few close friends. The RMCRF was started out of love and support for Ryse Williams and his family, a close friend of Alexander who died in 2017 after complications from stage 4 Renal Medullary Carcinoma. The RMCRF's main goal is to promote awareness for RMC and SCD and provide a clearinghouse of research and information for families of RMC and SCD patients.

Our Vision is a future where those diagnosed with rare cancers, especially RMC, have access to affordable and quality care.

Our Mission is to create a worldwide organization offering support to those diagnosed with RMC and other Sickle Cell Disease-related disorders.
